I think Canada is much better option . It's cheaper and convenient. I have heard many success stories of H1 stamping in Canada
I've an appointment in October at Munich, Germany consulate for H1B stamping. Because of time constraints I decided to get the stamping done when I'm out there for work. I've already obtained the german visa (though had to provide plenty of explanation !). This is my 9th yr extn (MS, EB2 - 140 approved)
- Can anyone share their experience at the Munich consulate?
- or, should I plan going to Canada and trying rather taking the risk in Germany?

I applied on Jun6th and got my EAD 2 weeks back. I took infopass to expedite the process. The IO wrote an email to someone in TSC. I got approved next week. Give a try taking Infopass.

There are websites that the US consulates maintain listing the case numbers with their status. I am currently waiting for my H-1B visa petition decision in hyderabad. Below is the link the website maintained by the US consulate in hydererabad. There are similar websites for other US consulates in India

My spouse submitted her EAD e-filing application 2 months back. How long does it take to receive the finger printing appointment notice. Kindly advise.
My wife applied for EAD on April 1st - Never received FP , on may 12 received rfe for Photos..
I e filed my EAD on April 26 - got FP notice on april 30

I got my receipt number for H1b application and its been more than a week but i still cannot check my status online on USCIS website.
It says case is not found ,even tried calling customer service .
Does it take time to get uploaded online ?
Did anyone else face this problem
I am not getting any information from my employer.
Is there any other way we can find out if USCIS accepted my application.

i know what you're talking about - this obsession w/pre-adjudication is ridiculous!i for one support dismantling the current vb based 485 filing lottery system that utterly makes no sense whatsover! let people file 485 as and when 140 is approved and get rid of this cynical vb based filing -

You can use your eb3 EAD.
But first to get into EB2 category, you have to first file another separate labor with a different employer (w/same employer it will most likely rejected) and then file 140 separately agian and then once your 140 is approved get it interfiled and then port from eb3 to eb2.
