MacBook Air is awesome because they're so small. People want that in a product.
Only for specific purposes. I prefer 2x24" or 27" monitor for real work.

I have a 4th Gen iPod Touch and I used Green Poison AND Limera1n, both of which says the jailbreak was successful but no icons were installed for me to install Cydia. Can anyone help?
Please provide more detail.
I don't know your firmware version (btw limera1n nor gp works with 4.2.1).
I don't know if your definition of no icon correlates to ghost icons or not.
I don't know if you used the loader to install cydia or not.
Please reply with the needed information.

As far as I know Palm is the best way to go for what your describing, plus its the most compatible with OSX. One of the Zire's should suffice. I personally like the Tungsten T5 myself.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8G4 Safari/6533.18.5)
This is in line with the iPhone life cycle.
2007 - iPhone (the Apple Beta)
2008 - iPhone 3G - Complete Redesign (or, IMHO, the "real" launch)
2009 - iPhone 3GS - Modest update
2010 - iPhone 4 - Complete redesign
2011 - iPhone 4.5 - Modest update
2012 - iPhone 5 - Complete redesign. (or at least, significant overhaul.)
iPad, iPod Touch & iPod Nano follow this curve. I feel like we can expect a revolutionary new device every 2 years, and a modest upgrade in between.
Eh, at least going by what's under the hood, the 3GS was a more significant upgrade than the 3G. Apparently apple agrees too (iPhone 2G being iPhone 1,1; iPhone 3G being iPhone 1,2; iPhone 3GS being iPhone 2,1). The 3G's CPU, GPU, and RAM were identical to the 2G. Only real addition was the 3G radio (with GPS).

AppleInsider Article: "The filing is credited to four Apple employees: Nick King, Duncan Kerr, Paul Herbst and Steven Hotelling."
Is this the type of thing Apple does? Thought they had more control over employee/press relations...
The whole article sounds a bit overloaded with info - is it April Fools?http://forums.macrumors.com/images/smilies/redface.gif
They just got all the information from the patent...they are incredibly extensive documents. And the employees credited are probably the patent attorneys that wrote the document. This has nothing to do with apple's control. April is not for five months...a bit premature.

Ya I've tried it on other systems and all works good. I seem to really be the only person having this problem the administrator said. Everything else I try to do works good as well, I mean websites. Have you ever heard of this happening before to other sites?

Have you tried deleting redsn0w and downloading it again? maybe it's the file. I had a similar problem and replacing the .exe file fixed it for me.
Yes I've tried that several times. I also tried first when the jailbreak was for 4.3.1 and the tried it again when they updated redsnow to jailbreak 4.3.2 (after I updated my device to 4.3.2 of course). I also tried using the iphone firmware stored in my itunes folder and also downloading the firmware from the dv-team link. Same results with every time. Weird!!!
Another thing I should mention was that although my model number indicated I was on the old boot rom as opposed to the fixed I got an error message saying that I was indeed on the fixed boot rom. I restored my device and tried it again using the fix boot rom option. Since then I haven't received that error message but instead what I mentioned above happens. Could this be my problem?

Sounds like the OP is trying to be some idiotic little child that is trying to get someone to wipe their phone.
You know, if your phone is set to erase after 10 incorrect tries. Most people that use a code use this feature as well.
I've seen several attempts by children to do this on here and other forums. Why do kids get their jollies off other people's misery?
Now we know why some animals eat their young.

T-Mobile in my area rents its airtime on Cingular's network. This is coming from 2 friends, one who works for T-Mobile and one works Cingular
While this is true in your area, it doesn't contradict what I said.
T-Mobile, contrary to what the person I was replying to said, does have its own network. In most areas where it operates, it is not using Cingular's network. In some areas, it uses Cingular's, and in others Cingular uses its, but in most areas, they're both independent of one another.
T-Mobile is the aggregate of most of the independent GSM operators that were coming online in the late nineties. Most of them were bought by Voicestream, T-Mobile took over Voicestream and then bought Powertel.

Yea... I'm not sure if I can get the mac in the store because I want the 7200rpm 160GB HDD which is not common in stores (at least in New York they weren't). I want the high end 15 inch MBP with that faster HDD and I'm gonna upgrade the RAM on my own.... I can get 4GB for like 200 instead ofthe 650 Apple wants with the student discount =(

It was 10 days before my second year of Community College classes were to start. I was in bed, just sort of waking up when my dad called to me to see what was happening on the TV. I was thinking from his reactions that what was happening was another Oklahoma style bombing or something (at that point I still had not made it to the living room and seen anything on the TV yet). Well my thoughts were quickly changed after seeing the first few minutes of the coverage

Yes, perfectly normal. It saves SHSH for the most recent firmware, regardless of which firmware is installed on your device.
i thought it suppose to save my 4.3 shsh instead showing me 4.3.1 shsh? i have a 4.3 ipad2.

I can connect to our intranet site via hostname (e.g. xyz.local/index.html) when I am on the LAN because (as I understand it) .local hostnames are advertised by the bonjour service. But this does not work over a VPN (becuase no bonjour services do) so I have to connect by IP address (e.g. 192.168.2.11/index.html)
Is there an alternative to using the bonjour advertised hostnames that doesn't involve connecting by IP address? Would having a local DNS server running on the server or router (Vigor 2820) be a solution?
I realise I could edit the hosts file of every computer/device that connects via the VPN but I was after a more universal solution that can be implemented at the server end.

...The computer would use something like Photoshop FL edition (For Ladies) to make them look like Kate Moss, Suzanne Summers, Petra Verkaik or their favorite star. A brave new world...
...who would want to look like any of those women? They all look kinda...
well, let's say there are people that look a lot better.
Eh, maybe I just don't want to look like the thighmaster seller. :p

It is impossible. You need to run Windows on the Mac to install them.
Thanks but how do i do that without loosing that wonderful UI of mac? Even more so without inviting viruses, Trojans and the like.

Very strange. My guess is you'll see a custom build update fairly soon, like the MBP's got.
